At the Art Center, we bring
out the artist in every child!
The Art Center is the culmination of three decades of teaching
art to children, striving to achieve the tricky but essential
balance between teaching difficult art skills and encouraging
children’s love of the creative process. My experience
as a teacher, painter, and illustrator has given me personal
knowlege about how to achieve artistic results. All the teachers
at The Art Center, many of whom are artists in their own
right, share this same commitment to children and creativity.
The Art Center has after-school classes and Saturday classes,
an "All-Day Art" program for school holidays, and
the Mostly Art Summer Program. Our classes are for kindergarten
through grade 8 and are currently held on the Upper East Side
of Manhattan. Try the Art Center for one semester, and you’ll
see just how proud your children are of their art accomplishments
and how eagerly they dive into their next creative challenge.
